I've had my Gear S3 Frontier for about a month now and just love it! Pretty amazing what they can squeeze into a reasonably sized wrist watch!
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, Built-in speakers

Love Samsung Pay!

I bought this watch for easy pay and to have all my email and texts at hand without digging through my purse. I have ano issue with text to speech. 9 times out of 10 it reads my voice. Very frustrating since it's one of the reasons I bought this watch. I love everything else about it. Wish they had more girly looms.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, easy to read
Cons: speech to text rarely works

Fantastic Smartwatch

With the Gear S3 Frontier, Samsung has set the bar in the smartwatch arena. The size is perfect for any average sized person and fits with the current fashion of slightly bigger watches. The dark grey color of the body and bezel is excellent. I continually bash my Gear S3 accidentally on door frames, counters, etc, and the finish and glass hold up exceptionally well, with no scratches on the glass. The screen is beautiful; it defies description and puts my wife's iWatch to shame. On the performance end, it is fast and I personally run it for 3 days and still have over 40% battery left. I use it heavily, but I don't have facebook or instagram notifications forwarded to it. I constantly use the phone feature to answer short calls. Receiving texts is easy, even with a third party texting app (such as Textra), and responding via the quick responses is easy, but typing a message can be challenging, as it is on any watch sized item. Voice recognition is good, and all of the activity monitoring features are outstanding. When you add Samsung Pay to the mix, it easily eclipses anything else on the market. Highly recommended.

Great start.....

The look and the materials of this watch are great. The ease of use is very straight forward. I have had no battery issues, I've gone 3 full and active days on a single charge. The connection to my Samsung S7 Edge is clean and without issue and I feel for a watch like this the price is good. My issues are around the applications and the overall ecosystem for this watch. Yes there are a few Apps like Uber and Samsung Pay and there are different watch faces but that's about it. The S Health App needs to integrate with more devices and apps that track food/calories like Lose It! to really become useful. In addition I have found the step and stair tracking capabilites to be significantly off to the point of non useable. The heart rate is pretty solid. Samsung you have a great start here, focus on improving the accuracy and the apps/ecosystem and this watch will be a homerun!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Inexpensive, Lightweight, Built-in speakers
Cons: lack of applicatuons, step and stair accuracy off

Best Tech I have Ever Owned

When I got my watch, I immediately fell in love with it. Before I ever even used it, I was more than thrilled with the way it looked on my wrist. I have several watches I used to wear that are nice, but this one looks much better than my favorite watches. It fits extremely well, and is comfortable enough to wear all day and overnight. I love the personalization options, and that you can customize the watch faces very easily. It has also motivated me to become more active because it gives me a notification when I reach goals, or if I have been sitting down for too long! The bevel makes it much easier to navigate than any other smartwatch I have tried out. Definitely recommend getting one for yourself!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, Built-in speakers, waterproof, samsung pay, can personalize texts, worth the price
Cons: s voice is lacking
