Love it and all features! Inspires me to exercise more, adding the fun of step counting And tracking the kind of sleep patterns. Finally got my "Dick Tracey" watch hahaha!

I received the gear s3 frontier for christmas and I love it so far, just a few paint chips witch i would rather not have but its great

Good Smart Watch | Bad Fitness Watch

Had Gear S3 watch for over a year now and although I like this watch as an everyday smartwatch...it absolutely aweful as a fitness watch. Steps can't be in sync with the phone...so if you take off your watch and walk with your phone, those steps don't count... The strava app is horrible on the watch. Strave app can't override the autodetection workout. The wake-up gesture is a pain in the butt in general but even more so while running. The GPS is awful and if it drops out on a run, it can't figure out how to get a lock again. The Spotify app is worse than the strava app.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Inaccurate Fitness tracking

This device looks awesome on my wrist but its fitness tracking is highly in accurate, specially its auto sleeping feature which logs my train commute as sleeping lol. I would only recommend this to someone who's just looking for a watch to show notifications and text's etc..
This is not for gym goers. This watch gets crazy HR measurements when you sweat and highly inaccurate steps and millage when you run.

I'm on the latest software! BTW there's a lack of apps available for this device.

Good but battery stinks

It's a good smartwatch but when working fine, battery would scrape through a day, now after 3 weeks and having this problem for the last week and a half, battery drains 10% every half hour.
Tried restarting, factory resetting and eliminating apps but to no avail.

The First True Smart Watch

I purchased the Frontier Bluetooth version. This is what I wanted from a smart watch from the beginning. The design is gorgeous. An all metal body looks very premium, and the band is interchangeable and feels comfortable on the wrist all day. Being able to wear this watch with out fear of water is awesome. The Interface is very intuitive and customize-able. It has all the features that you would come to expect from a high end wearable from health sensors and fitness tracking too basic messaging and phone functions, it all works well. The only down side is the battery life, if you turn on the always on display, the auto WiFi and the GPS, it will drain the battery very quickly. I drained the battery in a 10 hour work day with all these features on. On the other hand I turned all these features off and now it has lasted almost 4 days and I don't notice any loss of functionality with these settings turned off since it uses the phone to give it GPS and WiFi information . Over all this is an amazing smart watch and beautiful piece of craftsmanship.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, Built-in speakers, intuitive
Cons: battery life
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a beauty!!! I love the Samsung Gear S3!!! The watch nearly ticks all the boxes and haven't seen any that does. So far the Gear S3 has met my expectations. It has great battery life and all the features I want from a smartwatch.
Well done Samsung!! I can't wait to see what you have in store for future smartwatches!!!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, Lightweight, Built-in speakers, fantastic battery life.
Cons: the rotating bezel is a bit loose. you can tap it

I bought this to replace my Gear 2. Love the look and feel of it. My son has the Gear S2 and he likes it. I loved the ability to take calls from my Gear 2, and having that back with the Gear S3 is a huge plus for me. and it is a little bigger which I think looks nicer. The addition of Samsung Pay is an awesome addition and the battery life is not bad. NFC, GPS, and WiFi are great, but do drain the battery a bit faster than I would like, however turning them off is easy and quick. Overall I love this watch, and am very happy with the purchase.
Pros: Realistic color, Lightweight, Built-in speakers
Cons: no ability to add your own notification sounds
I would recommend this to a friend!
