Not a fitness device

I hope people reviewing this giving it 4+ aren't using it for fitness. It's not an accurate pedometer AT ALL. Right now my Fitbit has tracked 2k+ steps and my Gear S3 1k. I've bee monitoring them for accuracy and gear s misses anything below 15 consecutive steps. It only starts counting after 15 and stops once the person stops and doesn't pick back up until the next set of 15. Samsung workaround for this, disabling rowing and elliptic trackers do not work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this watch 2 years ago and from day 1 had to charge it every day. I use number sync and it's a cell version (can act as a phone standalone). Perhaps that's what the drain is. Also tried using it for gps for golf...can't make it through a round. I also have all notifications turned off. Perhaps the battery was never good, but seems like I probably need a new one at minimum.

Great Watch

I bought this as my fist smartwatch and i was awesome, years later the battery started heating and the watch died, it was more expensive to fix it than to buy a new one so now i have the galaxy watch which is a lot better in overall terms but something that improved a lot is the battery, now it last a lot more.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great smart watch

I've got this watch for more than a year now and all I can say is that it does what you expect from it. It has really nice features like sport, messaging and calling. But unfortunately it doesn't have many apps available in the galaxy store. It does lag/hang sometimes but that might be because I'm using it intensively.
Overall, I do recommend this watch if you've got patience for them to fix some performace issues.

Love our watches!

Bought our watches several months ago. My wife’s rose gold looks and works great! My Frontier has battery issues. Got in touch with customer support and they were great. After repair, still had issue with battery life. After returning twice, they sent me a new watch and all is well! Great features and love the look ! Would definitely purchase again!
