Economical and Efficient

This model has a nice, modest appearance that complements a small kitchen without overtaking it. It does a very good job of cleaning and drying the dishes and with efficient loading, has a surprisingly good capacity for its size.
I recommend it highly for apartments or homeowners like me with kitchen space constraints.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Broke after 3 years

This dishwasher worked fine for about 3 years and then the interface board stopped working - we are no longer able to engage the start button so the dishwasher has been sitting useless since November. We would love to have it repaired however the part needed has been backordered since at least November. Every time I check the website the expected in-stock date is pushed back. At this point we will likely get rid of this dishwasher and purchase a new one (definitely not a GE) as I do not know if the part will ever be available. For the price I thought we would get more than three years out of it. Overall very disappointed in the product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My Mistake

I replaced the old one with this product....it does Not clean well at all. And, worst of all, there was no operating instructions with the delivery...so I looked online and found little help. I started it at approx. 10PM last night....opened the door at Midnight.....left the door open....and the green light was Still on at NOON today. Why does it Not shut off ??????

Layout when loading is not very good

Kitchen design had an error and could not use a full size so got this. Works okay but not like the full size. It is hard to find out the best way to load. However, it does do a good job of cleaning and looks great in the kitchen.

Too Noisy

This is my second GE 18 inch dishwasher. I thought this dishwasher would be upgrade but preferred my first dishwasher. This dishwasher runs louder, and also the interior capacity appears to be smaller somehow, so can't run as many dishes as before.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
