I've used defender series on every smart phone I've ever owned. My wife as well. It protects the phone from dents, cracked screens, basically any damage. Since I have young kids, they always grab my phone and my phone has fallen on asphalt, down hardwood stairs, or even thrown across the room. With this case, any phone can withstand anything!

I bought the polka dot cover and the back (design side) scratches up horribly. I'm still an otterbox and love its durability but upset with the easy scratching.

I love the style and design of the back of the case but really did not like the bubblegum pink interior casing so I sprayed painted it gold and I think it's fabulous now

I got my new defender case for my new iPhone 7 about 2 weeks ago and would love the case except for there is an gap between the case and the phone glass making it extremely hard to use your phone touch feature (especially texting) because you have to push so hard to get it to work

I Love Otterbox Defender cases. I'm sure my phone is protected - and that is the real point to having a case like this. I was not thrilled with my color choices (I really, really wanted Orange and Black - the colors of my favorite baseball team), but after receiving the Mint Dot, I'm very happy. It's a very pretty case. It does get dirty, but so does every case. I haven't had any problem with scratching, or slipping as some reviewers noted. I do have a slight problem with the home button. The thumbprint access does not always work, so I don't use a thumbprint now. The cover over the plug in area was slightly annoying, so I cut it off. Problems solved. Maybe the outer case won't stretch out in this area now (like it did with my previous Otterbox for my Iphone 5S). In any case, I highly recommend this product. Thanks Otterbox! (ps: any thought on working with MLB for case designs?)
