Muffled

I agree with the other reviews regarding calls being muffled. I just received my case and callers were telling me they could barely hear me. I thought it was my phone, but after taking of the case, they could hear me clearly. Calling up customer service to return tomorrow. Too bad...it's a sharp looking case.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I thought it would have a slot or two for a cc or I'd but nope. People say I sound muffled dience i put the phone on this case.

Looks Great but Causes Poor Voice Quality

This case looks nice but caused my voice to sound "muffled" to every person I talked to. I ended up taking my phone (iPhone 7+) to an Apple store because I thought there was something wrong with my phone. The technician told me the phone was fine. We took off the case and the problem was resolved! I called Otterbox and they were unaware of any issues like this. I was sent the same case again because the representative thought it could have been that specific case. When the new case was put on I had the exact same issue. My wife has the same case on her iPhone 7 and has no problems at all. I called Otterbox again and was offered a different case. The customer service is outstanding but it has been over a month of going back and forth and I still do not have my new case. I did see a review about this same issue posted 2 months ago.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the case but muffles voice calls.

Bought this 3 weeks ago, love the case, good protection, stylish, card slot which is handy, all good, very happy in that respect. Though on my iPhones 7 plus it muffles my voice on calls, people can't hear me properly, they complained on every call. Thought it was a problem with the new phone, then realized it's the case. Take it off and all is fine, perfectly clear. Tested it on and off many times and indeed the case. Hoping the warranty claim (I just applied for) will be sent out and all will be fine. Would like to use this case, though temped to just go for a different style of otterbox to avoid a similar problem.

I love my case. It is well made and is an attractive colour. The case has an excellent look to it and has garnered quite a few compliments.
I have already dropped the phone once and the case did a nice job protecting the phone. There was no damage at all.
My one complaint is that when the wallet is folded back to use the phone, the camera is completely obscured by the cover. I would be over the moon if I could use the camera without holding the cover to the side.

I absolutely love the case in every way. But there was one thing. My voice was muffled when talking on the phone with the case on. Experimented with different things to see what was going on since there was not a visible difference where the mic is compared to other cases. I started to return it. However, I liked it so much that I decided to cut off the rubber piece of the case that surrounded the mic area. That resolved the issue except when talking to my mother. That may say more about her than the phone case. :-)
