Love It!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Bosch cooktop is excellent. Small (30") but mighty. It lights easily, simmers and boils quickly and steadily, and, most importantly, fits my pots and pans, which are on the larger size (12" and 16") for major family cooking. Compared to other top brand cooktops that I was considering (brought paper cutouts of diameters for my most-used pot to the showroom), the pots and pans don't dangerously sit over the knobs. Also, this cooktop can still properly accommodate smaller pots -- which was not the case with other brands' 30" models that I tested. For some reason, most current cooktops of this size (30") sacrifice form over function. Not this Bosch. My one small issue is that this particular stainless steel finish is a bit fussy to clean compared to other brands, but given the quality of the cooking apparatus, that's a small sacrifice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for a four burner cooktop in this form factor, then you don't have too many options. Most manufacturers try to cram 5 burners in which isn't really functional if you actually like to have a few pots on the stove at once. We bought this Bosch over another brand that we'd had in the past and loved because we were concerned that service for the other brand would be spotty where we live now. This cooktop is fine, but we are feeling buyer's remorse about Bosch in general because the 500 series Speed Oven what we bought just died for the second time out of warranty. Very dissapointed because we are planning a full remodel and had wanted to stick with Bosch.

Nice gas cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My only complaint about this cooktop is that the grill is a bit high above the burners, letting a fair amount of the heat from the flames escape to the sides rather than hit the pan. As a result, in order to not waste the gas heat, I have to use a smaller flame, which then takes longer to heat the contents. Other than that, the design is great. I love having a grill area where I can set hot pans away from burners, a grill that is easy to lift in sections to clean, and the ease of cleaning up spills. It's important to always place the burner covers on properly so that the flames are even.

too small

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The burners are not adequately spaced apart from eaxh other. You cannot use normal sized pans together as the distance between the burners is too snakl.
