am happy with the new washer and dryer, I had to get rid of my top loader as it didn't use enough water and my dark clothes were coming out with white spots, the ge washer got the white spots out and is working much better, however I am not sure why the gentle cycles are so long on these new energy efficient washers.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hope the quality goes beyond the looks.
When I purchased my GE Stove I loved it, purchased the top of the line. After 6 months all the electronic went crazy, had to call repair man.

HAD THIS FOR 3-MONTHS NOW WITH FAMILY OF SIX. RUNS GREAT, LARGE LOADS, STEAM CLEANS AND ALMOST DRIES DURING SPIN. VERY LITTLE DRYER TIME NEEDED. LOVE IT

We love this washer. Too bad it is a discontinued model. It is super quiet and does such a great job taking the water out in the final cycle, which makes for a shorter drying cycle.
