[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been completely satisfied with opting to purchase this LG refrigerator. It has tons of space, is super quiet. Smudges wipe off with ease. Makes ice super fast. Only if your a pet owner, (like me), the auto door sensor activates sometimes when my dog lays down in front of the refrigerator. After removing and relocating my kitchen mat this issue was resolved.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this unit for two weeks. Great refrigerator except for a few short comings. You only have one shelf for tall items and it’s the one behind the glass door. That shelf is for items you use everyday, not for storage of tall items. They need one of their shelves to adjust half way and slide under to allow tall bottles to be stored. The other problem is they put the ice maker and water filter in the left side refrigerator door. The three shelves their are so narrow most items won’t fit. They only can hole very narrow bottles. Also the top shelf behind the glass door is set so high you can’t put anything bidder than a can of soda. Shelf should be adjustable. Freezer section is excellent. Well designed and latex out. The automatic shelves that come out make it so easy to find items you are looking for. This is a BIG refrigerator. Measuring the space in the kitchen for it is one thing. Trying to get it through the front door is next to impossible unless your delivery people are very patient and resourceful. After you take the doors off to try to get it in you have two 4 inch big hinges sticking out of the refrigerator that we’re holding the door. The manual talks about removing the doors but dorsn’t talk about the hinges. These have to be removed or you gain nothing by removing the doors. Great if you have a double door entry. No problem getting it in. We like the looks of the refrigerator. No one had it in stock to look at, so we had to decide to get it by looking at pictures.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Perfect for my needs!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect for my needs! I really love this new refrigerator! My hands are usually full when I'm putting away groceries and the open door projection button is terrific. Yes, the doors are heavy, but not too heavy -- I just nudge it with my elbow. My little dog opened the door once - he had been watching me step on the projection and thought he'd check it out. He stuck his paw on the light and the top door opened. The door shut back shortly thereafter and he's shown no further interest. (Glad I don't have a great dane though)! I think being able to grab a bottle of water or can of soda from the front without opening the entire refrigerator is very helpful. The ice dispenser works nicely and quickly replaces cubes once dispensed. I've used the pre-measured water amounts a few times, but for my purposes, this isn't needed. The fact that the drawers self close is really nice. I like the idea of the appetizer tray; I haven't used it so far other than to store some cheeses in it.
I really, really love the french door freezer with the six drawers and six side shelves!!! I can see and find what I'm looking for!!! I love to cook and when I do, I make enough to use in the future. With the LG french door freezer, my freezer is no longer the abyss into which something goes and dies a slow and painful freezer death -- with the old giant bin, I could never find what I was looking for unless I took everything out (or a bunch of stuff out) and put it on my already crowded counters - which is a pain, so I'd just buy fresh replacements. The bottom drawers are large enough to hold a medium sized frozen turkey. I also really like the fact that the drawers slide out when you open the door - I'm tall with back issues so this is particularly convenient. I can organize and see and take out things that I'm looking for so easily!
The doors are fingerprint resistant which is an absolute plus! I like the look of the stainless steel on the inside. I love the idea of a fresh filter eliminating my need to keep an open box of baking soda inside (which can get knocked over and create a mess). The crisper drawers are really roomy - I can store two large (17.3 cup) produce savers in one drawer with ample room for other produce in front of it. I also love the fact that you don't have to take a million things out of the refrigerator to change the water filter - just the stuff on the side door (one small shelf only). The water dispenser and ice dispenser in the door is wonderful and saves so much room!
Cons: I don't like that the under-shelf lights do not work if you move a shelf out of the predetermined position. The engineer who designed the shelf positions must not have any tall groceries. Salad dressings, sauce bottles, large size yogurt, or milk cartons will not fit with the predetermined position. I adjusted the bottom shelf and now the lights do not come on - they only come on in one position. For really tall objects, the only choice is to store it in the front door. Storing a cake on a pedestal in the refrigerator??? Forget about it. An open bottle of wine??? Nope - and it won't fit in the door if it's a tall bottle and you have a stopper in it. (I guess drinking more wine isn't a terrible thing). I also personally think the deli drawer should be larger. I wouldn't miss the appetizer drawer if it could result in the enlargement of the deli drawer.
Bottom line, I love the refrigerator and hope it lasts for many years.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We'very had the refrigerator for a few weeks now and absolutely love it starting with the ice and water. I like crushed ice and my husband likes cubes. Switching ice types doesn't put any of the prior selection into your glass. The filtered water tastes like the spring water I used to buy. The bins are great for organizing in both the cold and freeze sections and I like the way they lift out for cleaning. The freezer bins are large enough to hold a large turkey and, because they pull out, nothing is getting lost in the back. There is no wasted space. The quick through the door access section works great for grabbing items we use daily. My only complaints are the deli drawer at the bottom of the refrigerator section. You need to open both doors to access it. That should be 2 separate drawers like the rest of the refrigerator; and, the manual should have a larger font. Bottom line, every day, I say 'I love that refrigerator '.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I'm very happy with my new refrigerator, I can keep all my food in the diffrent compartments

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge (which me and my 5 little kids call Elsa the ice queen’) is a fantastic addition to our family if 7. Soooo much room! I can fit 3 gallons of milk on one row- that’s how deep it is! The soft close drawers and huge and perfect for organizing your food. This beauty has many different compartments to keep your little items from cluttering your fridge, or getting lost. The lighting is fantastic, and we haven’t had any reconfiguration problems I read about. The water and ice maker are amazing! I’m a huge ice lover and I have yet to reach the bottom of the ice yet! It even has a turbo ice function (pretty sure that’s not what it’s called, but you get the picture) so if you have a party coming up, you will have non stop ice coming your way! The tray at the bottom is also removable, so it’s easy to clean.... major plus for a neat freak. MY FAVORITE PART!!! The freezer!!! Oh my good heavens! This freezer makes my OCD heart leap for joy!!!! You open the doors and the drawers automatically slide forward. Then you can pick a drawer to side all the way out! Gone are the days of a French Door chest freezer! Gone are the days of getting frostbite every time I had to look for something! Gone are the days of throwing out food that got left at the bottom, because I refused to loose appendages to frostbite! I was able to use each of the 6 drawers for each type of food! (Meat, fruits, veggies, dairy, grains, and miscellaneous). It’s soooo easy to organize, find, and enjoy food again. It’s also easier to send my children (or lets be honest, my husband) to look for food, without the failed mission look on their face! I also meal prep, and freeze fruits and veggies from my garden and trees. I can fit a full on sheet pan inside one drawer! That’s 6 pans of food I can freeze at one time! Such a time saver. The door in door and auto door opener are fantastic features that lead to a lot of play time for the kids (and dog). But they are definitely handy to mom as well. The ONLY thing I would change is the fridge doors. They are heavy, and even when you close them you have to push on them to make sure they are closed. I wish the had a soft close option like the drawers inside. Overall, I’m so happy to be apart the LG signature family.

Love it, but...

I've had this fridge for about 8 months. While I do love it, I have to agree with some of the other reviews...the fact that you can't stand up a large bottle of juice is absolutely ridiculous considering how much this cost. Love the freezer drawers, insta-view door and especially the auto open feature.
