DVR8-4750 and T808 Cameras

This is a fairly easy system to use one you have spent a bit of time learning how it all works (took me about one week). I think the image quality of the cameras is very good but the DVR can only record at 8 frame per second when set up to record from the supplied 3 megapixel cameras at the full 3 megapixel resolution which then gives quite a blur to any objects when they move in the picture. By reducing the picture recording quality to record at 1080p instead of 3 megapixel the image is improved because the DVR can then record at 12 fps instead of 8fps which helps to reduce blur when objects move. Reducing the recording resolution from 3 megapixels to 1080 does not seem to make much difference to the actual picture quality but it does help to reduce the blurring effect.

GOOD Value for the money.

Can’t compalin about this little system. Everything works perfect. Depending on where to locate the DVR you may need a power link to connect to your router. No way could we have routed an Ethernet straight to the router without cable being visible.

Very neat and easy to use DVR

I bought this package to upgrade my old 960H CCTV system. I was pleased to see that the connections to cameras are identical to 960H, so no retiring required. The DVR is easy to set up, a very neat design and picture quality is very good. The IOS app on my iPhone 6S works splendidly, giving me a good range of remote features that work over 3G/4G/Wi-Fi when I’m out. I have not yet installed the cameras, as my existing system cameras work with the DVR and I’m awaiting better weather to tackle that job! The instructions are very good and well-organised; just one thing I haven’t found details of is how to access the DVR via my laptop’s web browser, but I believe there is a browser plug in that is required, so I’m planning to research how to do that online.
