Just bought it a couple of weeks ago...

Love it and definitely worth spending a little more. Most processors have plastic gears, not Breville very impressed metal gear. When blending it is so much quieter than the previous food processor we’ve had.

Does not worth the price

After using the Breville food processor for one and a half years, I must say that I'm disappointed with its quality. The bottom of the bowl where it attaches to the base has developed some cracks, and there are other cracks in the middle of the bowl as well. I have only washed it on the top shelf of the dishwasher and never dropped or bumped it anywhere. Additionally, if you want to use it for making dough, you cannot have more than one or two cups, or else it gets stuck. Given its high price, I do not recommend this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

New food processor

Nice to have lots of power . Used to make cabbage salad , only took a few minutes and it was done. Like the adjustable slice thickness. It would be nice to know how long the cord is when pulled out so no one damages the connections. Nice heavy plastic bowl compared to my old unit.

A dream food processor

As with any other Breville product I have purchased in the past, this food processor delivers exactlly what it says it will. My only issue is the weight of the base - extremely heavy, way more than any other processor I have owned or looked at in a store. And perhaps that is because it is a more robust motor which would also explain why it works so well.
I would recommend this to a friend!
