[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This drone flies pretty nicely. It has a good distance between remote and how far the drone can fly. Fun for kids to experiment with drones and not have to worry about destroying it. Everyone enjoyed controlling this drone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Sharper Image stunt drone is the perfect gift for any kid who is interested in drones. It is really user friendly and easy to control and I love that it is rechargeable, so there's no need to worry about batteries running out. My eleven year old son loves this and plays with it constantly, I would definitely recommend.

Flies very easily

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this drone because I had always wanted one. It was easy to open and charge and it flies very easily. The instructions are very informative and the drone isn't very loud. It's got 4 led lights on it in red and white. The throttle can be easily and slowly sped up. I recommend.

Nice option for beginners

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the price, this drone is nice option. It is quick and allows you do flips. Just be careful on a windy day as it will be more difficult to control. It was blown away easy on the slightly windy day we took it out. In comparison to several other drones we have it was a little harder to manage than the others; maybe because it is fast. Not sure. Flying it inside the house was much more manageable. A nice option for those just starting out their drone experience as the price is very reasonable.

Fun fun fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this and my youngest son could not wait to test it out. My older son has a larger drone and the younger one can't fly it. So, he was so excited to get a small one that he could learn to fly. I thought that it would be a great beginner drone for him. Imagine my surprise when this drone flew higher and better than the drone my older son has. It got wonderful height, easy to operate the controls, easy to land. Now my older son is jealous of his younger brothers drone. Wonderful toy for a young little fellow learning to fly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very powerful drone especially for it's size. The only issue would be it last 30 mins before you have to charge it again. The stunt button on the control is pretty sweet. It comes with extra blades in case you lose some.

Tricky Controls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sharper Image Stunt Drone is a decent starter drone for those interested in drones. The drone comes without a camera interface or Bluetooth connection, and is purely a RC device.
The drone holds a decent charge and is easy for us to charge - connecting the USB plug into an outlet or receptacle.
Overally, the controls are choppy at best. We played around with getting the drone to hover which was no small feat as the control needed to be held just right without any wind. What's more, the propellors are not protected from objects - and you're not protected from the propellors. We'd prefer a safety guard around the propellors.
As stated, the drone is decent for beginners.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
