I LOVE *almost* everything about this laptop - brilliant near-edgeless screen, great battery life, and you can get a 1TB solid state drive (hard to find). It's also my second Yoga, however it will be my LAST that I ever buy if they don't fix the keyboard!! The SHIFT key is placed in such a weird spot - it's forcing me to re-learn how to type, it's just crazy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this laptop in early 2017 from best buy. One week later the screen went all pixelly and after many phone calls to lenovo i sent it in for repair. 5 weeks later i got a replacement laptop from them. So from when the screen went pixelly to when i got the replacement it took 2 months. Then i got the new laptop and this one has been giving me nothing but issues. When you open a browser. sometimes the screen just goes black and then i have to hit esc and then try again. The processor is also very slow on it, the computer constantly and i mean constantly hangs up for a few seconds prior to launching anything. I dont use this laptop for anything else other than browsing the net, so no reason for a slow down.
I bought this laptop because the reviews everywhere are stellar however it definitely doesnt perform like that. I suggest you try one of these before dropping this kind of coin.
I really wish i could just throw this unit in the trash and go back to a Samsung notebook.
I bought this machine 2 months ago and am happy in general. If I were to pick on something it has to be the small Shift key under the Enter key. It definitely takes a bit of time to get used to.
