Great cooker!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this about 7 times so far. After using a basic crock-pot for years this is a welcome upgrade. I have used this to make side-dishes, dinners and desserts. This crock pot has 3 settings, low, high and warm. The push-button interface is easy to use and attractive. You simply choose low or high with the select button and then use the up and down arrow buttons to change the cook time by 30 minute intervals. When the cook time is up the crock pot automatically switches to warm so you don't have to worry about the dish cooking for too long. I have limited counter space in my kitchen so the hinged lid is one of the features I really like. Instead of having to find some where to sit the lid down I can just lift it up and it stays in place while I stir or whatever. The instruction book also has a few recipes in the back to get you started! *I received this product for free to test and this is my honest review.

Innovative design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very intrigued by the desigh of the Locking hinge lid. We used this Crock-Pot to cook a pork roast and beef roast and I was very pleased with the results. The lid does not get near as hot as the glass lid we had on our old crock pot. The LED readout on the side can be a little difficult to see from a standing position but it's not much of an inconvenience. Overall very pleased with this locking hinge Crock-Pot. I received this Crock-Pot as a sample in order to provide a review.

Nice, Modern Crock-Pot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this crock-pot a few weeks ago. My first impression was that I loved the stainless steel and modern look of it (my old 90's crockpot is white with flowers). My second impression was that the lid seemed like it would be flimsy and easily breakable. Needless to say, the lid has proven to be quite durable so far.
I broke in my new crock-pot by making bbq pulled pork using the recipe provided in the booklet that came with the crock-pot. So easy! I loved that I could program the cook time and leave it. Once the the time is up, the crock-pot automatically shifts to the "warm" feature. No more trying to remember how long the food has been cooking and trying to get to it on time to turn it off. The pulled pork came out beautifully!
I can't wait to use it for potlucks/parties. With the hinge lid I can easily travel with the crock-pot and not worry about spills. I love using this crock-pot and have already gotten rid of the old 90's one.

Great CrockPot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I loved the CrockPot Lift Hinge Lid slow cooker. You can make a multitude of recipes in it because of the size. The cooker cooks evenly and very fast. My wife made wonderful Chicken Marsala and Short Ribs in it. Both recipes finished an hour early so definitely keep track of your cooking times. The unit can get really hot for this reason. As a whole this CrockPot will be a great addition to your kitchen.

Comes with a digital timer and temperature selector. Worry free cooking. You will never overcook your dinner again. This crock pot cooks evenly and is easy to clean. And... it's a nice stainless finish that matches nicely with the rest of the kitchen appliances.

We purchased this not too long ago, so we've only used it a few times, but are loving it so far! The hinged lid is so great! What happens with a normal crock pot at a party? You have the lid and your plate in your hand and don't know where to set it down. Well this solves the problem! And the lid locks for travel. We love this and would recommend it!
