[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic slow cooker overall. I have made a few dinners in this so far and all have come out perfectly. I love the locking lid feature-especially when cooking large pieces of meat. The locking lid also seems to keep the condensation inside due to the rubber seal around the lid, so you don't lose as much moisture when cooking. I also love that the lid can be easily removed and is dishwasher safe. I also like that the lid is able to hinge on top, so you can open the lid without worrying about where to set it when adding ingredients at the end of the cooking time or even when serving the meal. Cooker will automatically switch to "warm" once cooking time has been reached-great for when my husband gets home later than anticipated. Appearance is good, but the digital screen is a little small and looks "older" than my previous slow cooker that we a few years old.
*I received a sample of this product in exchange for my honest review.*

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently acquired the Crockpot Programmable lift and serve 6 quart crockpot. This crockpot is so much better than their older more basic version that I also have. The program options are perfect, allowing you to adjust the time better for certain recipes. It has a really sleek stainless steel look which matches my other appliances when it is on my countertop. I'm also very happy with the hinged lid! What a great feature to have added. It was always such a pain to have to lift off the lid and then find a place to put it down to serve yourself. This one is so much easier - just lift, scoop, and close! The size of this is great, it holds enough food to feed both my family of five but also to have extra, like for company or a party. I highly recommend the Crockpot Programmable Lift and Serve Hinged Lid 6 quart oval slow cooker! I received it complimentary to test it out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this crockpot to make a slow cook lasagna initially, was planning to transport it to my sisters house for dinner. I love!! the secure lid- it is hinged and secures the contents safely!! Such an improvement. Programmability is easy, the temperature is controlled and matches my recipe recommendations. I've had difficulties with temperature control on other slow cookers, and this is a nice product that I can rely on to cook as described. I received this product as a sample to review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This slow cooker is awesome. The best feature is having the hinge on the lid. Our other slow cooker would always make a mess on the counter when we would remove the lid to serve. Best feature ever!!
As for the rest of the features. It is a good size for our family. We use it for a big pot of green beans. Also is great for my wife's hamburger soup. Plenty big enough for a family of four and have leftovers.
The only negative is that the controls are a little hard to see. If they were higher and brighter it would help.
Overall. Very satisfied.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before using this product, I had never used a slow cooker before. Upon opening the box, I was immediately impressed with how sturdy and solid the product was. With no idea what I wanted to cook, I tried the beef stew recipe in the owner's manual, substituting tiny meatballs for the suggested stewing beef. I plugged in the slow cooker, placed all the ingredients inside, closed the lid, and set the timer. This entire process took no longer than 3-5 minutes. It could not have been easier. 6 hours later, the cooker told me my dinner was ready. The stew was amazing. Where has this cooker been my whole life? The only tiny issue I have is the steam escape notch in the cooker seems to release more steam than I expected, but this is not a huge issue. The product works like a charm. Cleanup was simple. I took out the ceramic bowl and placed it in the dishwasher.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this slow cooker five times. Two times on high for four hours and 3 times on low for eight or more hours. After selected cooking time the cooker automatically The switched to the warm feature. There is a notch in the stoneware where a serving spoon can be placed and the lid then closed to keep food warm. The lid does not have to be removed to serve. The stoneware and lid were cleaned in the dishwasher with no problems. Great quality. Something you would expect from the name Crock Pot. Product was received as a product to review.
