Crockpot w/innovative feature allows for less mess

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The crockpot hinged lid innovates by providing a hinged lid. I know longer need to find counter space to place the lid when I'm preparing, stirring or serving. The six quart allowed me to cook for my family of five. The food came out perfect by using the 3 settings. Ultimately, to be more innovative I would like to be able to program time and settings. Many of my recipes start with a time period on high then switching to a low setting. I cook these meals on the weekend so that I can be there to switch the settings. The hinged lid helps in that I do not to need to find a space on The counter each time I stir or serve. This saves me time in clean up in that I do not have to clean the counter each time. I am a little nervous in that the lid could break off and make the crockpot useless. A handle on the middle of the lid as well would provide the option of lifting it in the middle if the lid did break. All in all this crockpot serves the purpose of convenient meals and convenient cleaning. Eliminating the need to clean my counter from a dirty lid.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very impressed with the Crockpot Programmable Lift & Serve Hinged-Lid Slow Cooker. I've cooked many things in a it over the last few weeks. From chicken, pork ribs, roast and the Triple Chocolate Surprise cake recipe that is printed on the box. Which everything I've cooked turned out great. The cake was awesome!
It's a breeze to travel with. The locking hinged lid prevents spills and splashes in the car.
Clean up is quick and easy. Lid and crock are dishwasher safe. Love the look of the stainless steel.
This is a must have Crockpot in my opinion!
I received the Crockpot as a sample to review, but I've been so pleased with it I have bought two myself for gifts.

Love the timer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with this product. Love the timer to warm feature and locking kid. Perfect size for family dinner. Only drawback it having to put the lid on straight up and down, meaning I have to pull the crock pot all the way out from under the cabinets over the counter. Works as indicated, temperature seems steady. I received this crock pot in exchange for my honest review of the product.

LOVE this slow cooker!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always been a Crock Pot fan, but this one has won me over for sure. This slow cooker solved my issues when it comes to transporting hot foods. My 30+ years old slow cooker has a loose glass lid that slips and slides easily, forcing me to have to pack the cooker in a box or crate, surrounding it with towels to absorb any spills, in order to take it to picnics or dinners away from our home. The locking lid on this one is the best! No more worries about sauces or soups being sloshed all over our vehicle. The timer is another great feature. I can set it and forget it, knowing it will kick off when I need it to stop cooking but will still keep the food hot and at a safe temperature by cycling the warmer. Since my old CrockPot is still going strong after more than 30 years, I expect to enjoy this one for many years to come. These are quality appliances. (Disclosure: I was given this appliance to test and review but that has in no way influenced the results. My opinions are based solely on the outcome of several uses and the obvious quality of the product.)

Awesome New Cooker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You think all slow cookers are pretty much the same but like me you'd be wrong. This CrocPot has a hinged lid that locks in place. Couple that with the two heavy duty side handles and you can feel safe moving it anywhere. Need to add, stir or serve your food? You push the "open" button on the front of the cooker to open the lid and it stays hinged on the side of the cooker; no messy countertop or missing lid. Remove the lid completely by pressing the "release" button that's on the back. Combine that awesome feature with the fact the cooker is digitally programmable- that means you can set it and forget it! It automatically shifts to warm when the cooking time is up. It's THAT simple. I received my CrocPot as a sample to test and review- but I would go buy one in a flash.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic slow cooker overall. I have made a few dinners in this so far and all have come out perfectly. I love the locking lid feature-especially when cooking large pieces of meat. The locking lid also seems to keep the condensation inside due to the rubber seal around the lid, so you don't lose as much moisture when cooking. I also love that the lid can be easily removed and is dishwasher safe. I also like that the lid is able to hinge on top, so you can open the lid without worrying where to set it when adding ingredients at the end of the cooking time or even when serving the meal. Cooker will automatically switch to "warm" once cooking time has been reached-great for when my husband gets home later than anticipated. Appearance is good, but the digital screen is a little small and looks "older" than my previous slow cooker that was a few years old.
