Great speakers for their size

These little polks are great speakers for their size. Im currently running them in a stereo setup without a subwoofer where size and look were an important factor. The sound is full and quite impressive, but bass drops off pretty fast under 60hz (what can you expect from a 4" woofer?). These speakers use a rear bass port to reflect the sound forward but I find the sweet spot for sound in the room to be fairly narrow, basically ear level and directly between the speakers for best listening)
These would make awesome rear channels in a surround setup, or would benefit greatly with being paired with a subwoofer in a 2.1 setup. For the price and size, you could do a lot worse.

These speakers are a good size and they do pack a great sound! I was looking for an upgrade from my 6750 front speakers and these are a great choice due to my space requirements.
I would recommend this to a friend!
