When I ordered my NuWave PIC, I was skeptical. I have cooked with it for over 2 years now and wouldn't trade it for anything. I liked it so much I bought it for all four of my grown children. I must say they liked it as much as I did. It is used everyday and more than my electric range or gas stove, I have both.

I have a huge 5-burner gas stove, and in the summertime it makes my kitchen unbearably hot even though I have 3 AC vents into the kitchen. If I turn the ceiling fan on to cool it down, it diminishes the flame and takes longer to cook. I have used my PIC all summer long and absolutely love it! Now that it is cooler I am using it for cooking soups, but it does not do well. It tends to overheat and cut off if you must simmer something for any length of time.

I use this cooktop for everything. The only time I use my stove / oven is when I need to bake something. This has saved us a lot of money on our gas bill.

I purchased the NuWave for a extra burner for my pool house. I cook in the house when it arrived and it never made it outside. I use it daily..... It's quick, easy to clean and keeps the exact temperature you need for what ever dish you may be preparing. What I love the most I think is you can set it on low/100 and it keep what ever you're preparing warm while you finish the rest of your meal without burning. I highly recommend it.

Used every meal on family camping trip. It was awesome! Having 2 PICS, we were able to serve 9 people full meals at the same time and was used every meal. It is a must for our camping!

Our non-profit cooking school purchased four of the original cooktops several years ago. We teach children from ages 4 through young adult ages how to safely cook nutrious foods. With our emphasis on safety in the kitchen all students start out using the NuWave then advance their skills to using our regular ranges. With the chance of injury so high with chidren we decided these were the best way to start them out cooking their own foods. Now we have used these with not one failure, no injuries, and no operating problems. Of course you still have to make sure you are aware that the contents of the cooking pans can cause injury - but we never had one happen. Say what you want about their sales techniques, but this is one great product that even a child can be taught to use safely.

I love the safety and precision of this product. I can start my cooking, set up the time and temperature, go to work. On my return it's either completely cooked or needs a little heating to be completely ready. It's amazing. I sent my other cooktop home to Mother Land - Africa where it will need a step up transformer to be safely used. Thank you for this product. I recommend it to all.
