This review was under the Nuwave precision induction cooktop, but the star rating above states it is for the oven. I give the cooktop 5 stars, the pans that come with it 3 stars. I do not own the oven, this is strictly for my purchase of the induction cooktop with non-stick silicone coated pans. I received my first induction cooktop as a gift. I loved it so much I ordered another one for the R.V. What I am unhappy with is the absolutely beautiful pans! They are sturdy and appear well made The first few times I used them they were certainly the best non-stick pans I have ever used. I always hand wash. Then I made the mistake of boiling down pot sticker in one of the pans, then adding oil and browning them The pans cleaned up very well, but completely lost the non-stick ability. Everything sticks to the pans now even though there are no scratches and no stains in the pan. I only use it now for frying items that require deep oil. I have tried to "season" the pan with oil without success and can not find information on how to restore the non-stick. This happened a second time in another pan from this offer, in which I cooked hash browns which were dehydrated and needed rehydration before cooking, so again moisture in the starch cooking directly on the pan. This pan is no longer non-stick, even though it still looks brand new. I think the starch somehow reacts with the silicone. Another silicone pan purchased at another store had the exact same problem, so I suspect it may a problem inherent to all silicone coated pans. Has anyone else had this experience?

I not only have the PIC but also have the oven...love, love, love...they are so easy to transport to gettogethers with our friends. We love roasted chicken so I usually bake two, one for our dinner and one to use in casseroles later in the week or to take to cookouts. I also have the grill and the set of pots and pans. I love the oven especially when I forget to defrost my meat. I can stick my roast, chicken or fish in the oven, set it and go about the task of getting everything else ready for our meal. I can now make perfect old fashioned fudge, using my PIC, like my mom use to make and it comes out creamy and smooth and never burns. My only problem is my skillets that came with my PIC sticks badly. They worked great for a while then all at once the food started sticking. I do not put them in the dishwasher.

I can't believe how often I use my PIC. It is so amazing that I bought four more as gifts for friends. They love them.

I am not a chef, but I love to cook...this has been the perfect complement to other kitchen equipment. And the cookware is extremely well made.

I have had mine for 3 or 4 years, I never put it away. It gets used as a slow cooker, the griddle for pancakes or eggs. It heats up in a heartbeat and goes to exactly what I set it too. I bought 2 full sets for friends last year. If I were to say I found a draw back, I can't figure out how to keep some things from sticking in the stainless. But then that's an issue with stainless. If one of mine ever quits working I will get another set in a heartbeat
