Exactly what I was looking for!

I live on a ranch between Houston and Beaumont, TX. I bought this device to listen to AM news and talk while working outside. The AM reception from either of the nearest large cities is almost nonexistent. It's useless for the purpose for which I purchased it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is only moderately useful

I bought it to listen to while running errands, but it tends to suddenly just stop and become all static. I then need to turn it off, then back on to get it to start again. When it actually works, it's fine, but it doesn't always work, so it's frustrating.
