Love the style and features

Many time though out the hurricane season I’m left with communication and electricity so having this radio keeps me informed to emergency services and weather conditions

CONFUSING AND INCORRECT INSTRUCTIONS ON BATTERY US

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The weather radio is ok for a small light weight radio, but the instructions are incorrect and confusing. The instructions state that you can leave nickle rechargeable batteries in the radio and IMPLIES THAT YOU CAN recharge by leaving it plugged in. That is not correct, you need a rechargeable station. THIS WILL NOT RECHARGE BATTERIES. The instructions need to be corrected since they are very confusing to someone not trained in electronics. It should be stated that if one does not use rechargeable batteries, only use REGULAR D batteries and take them out if not using battery since chemicals leak out after batteries get old. When power is available use power, when not use batteries but remove when power comes back or radio may be damaged by leaky batteries.
