Simple with a Good, Clear Sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having a new weatherband radio was a must during our hurricane season. This new WeatherX portable radio replaces an older, smaller radio that was difficult to hear. I like that it has a DC power cord and it uses just 3 D batteries. However the battery cover was difficult to open; I needed to use a small flat screw driver to pop it open. fortunately I didn’t crack it.

Rechargeable batteries a great feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first one I bought started turning itself off but I took it back to the store and they replaced it and the new one works great. Ireally like the way it is rechargeable yet when the charge runs out it works on the batteries.
