[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After the last power outage -- where we couldn't see cable TV so therefore couldn't get weather updates, i realized i didn't have a simple battery powered radio in case of emergencies. Bought the WeatherX unit and the bonus is it has a separate weather channel that does constant updates. Everyone should have one in the living room or kitchen in the same place you put flashlights and emergency batteries.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got the radio this past week. So far, so good. Some stations are hard to tune in on it, though, compared to other radios I have. The sound quality is decent for the price of the radio. I like that I can either plug it in or use batteries, so you can use it anywhere! I’m happy with it so far!
