[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live in a rural area with little reception for the only local station - so the Weatherband station is helpful. Cell phones have no reception where I live - so we sit around the fire and listen to this radio and are assured of hearing the weather.

It is nice in size and has a decent handle. It is perfect for the office if there is a power outage or emergency. It would also be perfect for a fun day at the beach. It operates by battery or power plug. This little radio is budget friendly as well.
