Extremely well constructed

I was very impressed. The reception and volume level are excellent. And I could hardly believe all the stations I was able to get in my area. It is very simple and easy to operate yet the construction is so solid, unlike so many things that are made today. It also has a very secure handle. Overall , I think you did a great job and made a perfect product. And the weatherband was a great added safety feature. It is so hard to find a portable radio. And if you need something in case of a power outage or in an emergency this is exactly what you need. So Thank You.

Good Sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for the kitchen. Radio sound is very good as is reception. Two things I don't care for: it is extremely light and you have to hold on to it to turn it on or off or change channels. ..the on/off volume wheel is almost flush with the case and it makes it hard to use. Should have been a knob or a wheel that was away from the case.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Radio For the Price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received this radio in the mail. It's actually replacing the same radio I purchased about a year and a half ago which had a connection (short) issue at the plugin cord going into the radio--wasn't getting any power. They have made some improvements to the cord where it actually plugs into the radio--the plugin is actually a little longer so it fits more securely at the radio plugin site. Stations come in clearly. Very happy with it so far.
