Great sound quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this the other day and was impressed by the sound quality. However, the button placement is not intuitive. The cd door opens manually but I'm not sure if that's how it really is meant to be opened.

Horrible shallow sound with no bass whatsoever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so sorry I purchased this item. I was looking for a CD player to play my vintage music. In no way is this a BOOM
box. In fact, there is no bass AT ALL and no depth to the sound whatsoever. Extremely disappointed in this purchase and will not be purchasing any other electronics manufactured by GPX. I would advise them to take the word BOOMBOX off of the box as it is false advertisement and misleads consumers to believe the music would have a full,
rich, booming sound. Apparently GPX has NO CLUE what a boombox is and should be ashamed to play artists music from this device as it does the artists an extreme disservice, unless they like their compilations to sound as if they are playing from within a tin can. Features are minimal, no ability to FF thru songs, can only skip to next. No radio station skip, only manual dial. A very poor product indeed.
