Washes really well

Wonderful for what it is

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this after moving into a rental house that doesn’t have any space or plumbing for a dishwasher. It is extremely functional and sizable for a portable unit that connects to a faucet. Dishes are generally clean (some care is needed in loading); having a rotating water jet under the top rack is a surprising feature for a portable dishwasher.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love it except...

Good unit, meets our needs but has some drawbacks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were gifted a portable dishwasher and after much research, chose this one, partly because it would arrive with free shipping. For the most part everything is fine and it works. It is small but that is to be expected, given what it is. I constantly wish it were just a little bigger but alas, that is not going to happen in our kitchen. I was originally quite pleased with the back panel that hides the power cord and hose and we dutifully put it away after each use. We've now reached a point where we just leave it plugged in and the hose flops around in our way in the sink because it's easier than putting it away. I wish it was a bit easier to tether the hose out of the way when not in use, besides stuffing it back in the slot (which is kind of difficult). We may come up with our own idea to hook it to the wall or something.
The top drawer has never slid back into place nicely and gets stuck on the track. A forceful push and it will go into place but that's a bit annoying. Another annoyance is the silverware caddy. We pretty quickly removed the stupid slotted top that was attached to the top. Who has silverware that will cleanly fit into those slots? Also we ended up removing the carry handle for the silverware caddy because it was always getting in the way of putting silverware INTO it. Then I had to zip tie it to the edge of the lower rack because it moved around too much and never seemed to have a perfect home in that lower rack.
Does it wash the dishes, absolutely and I'm glad to have it. We use the light wash, hi temp settings the most and haven't had cause to use the longer runs after a first or second try. The light wash is one of the shortest duration washes and seems to work just fine for our dishes.
One last thing,we need to move this to get to a basement door unfortunately. I find it doesn't roll very well and I'm often fighting with it to move it out of the way. We are strong and I would hate to see someone who was older or weaker fighting with it.
