No Longer Supports Boselink

If you are looking to upgrade your SA-2 or SA-3 with the SA-4, watch out. It no longer supports Boselink. This new system only supports the streaming music and will not play local content that may be playing on your Lifestyle system. Also, the range on the new remote control is terrible. Typically only works in the same room the SA-4s are in. We have our SA's mounted in the basement powering our speakers out by the pool and another set in the kitchen. The remote control is pretty much worthless. The remotes that were on our previous SA's worked all over the hose and out by the pool without a problem. Very disappointing that Bose chose to remove features we have grown accustom to on the older SAs.

The LifeStyle expansion zones embrace the SoundTouch technology and are indeed wireless. They depend on a connection to your router to stream the same content as the main system.

The range on the SoundTouch controller should be approximately 70 feet. Please contact our SoundTouch experts at 800-905-2156 and they will be glad to assist you. Support hours are Monday - Friday 8:30AM to 9:00PM and Saturdays from 9:00AM to 7:00PM EST.

Don't go near this horrible system

This is the worst Bose have ever done with amplifiers, besides the good power the amp has everything else especially the soundlink adapter is working so so bad. The wifi connection with the adapter is lost each time you want to connect, and you have to setit up each and everytime after using it. The connection is covering up to 7 feet inside the room and lost once you are leaving the room even if it's 3 feet away from the adapter. The soundtouch controller is basically useless and best part is comming - you can only play the music they want you to play coming of iTunes any other app with your playlist is never going to work.

You should only have to set the system up once, not each time you use it. Also, the range of the adapter should be up to 70 feet. With SoundTouch, you should be able to listen to internet radio and online streaming sources as well as music stored on your computer.
