Great product, but needs improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried the Remington® T|Studio™ Thermaluxe™ 2” Straightener for the first time and am impressed with it so far. It only took 15 seconds to heat up, which is great for when you're in a hurry or on the go and it was easy to use. This straightener seems to be well made and very durable. The large, floating plates make straightening your hair a breeze, but it can be awkward to use at first and may take some time to get used to due to the large, 2" plates. I really like that the Thermaluxe technology optimizes heat levels to help prevent damage as well as reducing frizz and creates a 24 hour hold. What I didn't like is the temperature selector which is manual instead of a digital display. A digital display of temperature would be great so that you know exactly what temperature you have it set at, but other than that, I really liked this hair straightener.

It gets me hair straight and perfect in less than half of the time. I have very thick hair and this baby is a blessing. I highly recommend it to ANYBODY especially if you have long thick hair like I do.

Amazing heat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This flat iron heats to 455 in just 15 seconds. Yes i said SECONDS. It als has floating plates.. that i LOVE..
One of my favorite things about this flat iron is it has temperature lock. This keeps the temp consistent through the entire styling process. You never have to worry about it cooling down in the middle of styling.
and if you forget to turn it off ... Don't worry the 60 min shut off of the iron will give you a peace of mind just in case.
Also the cord is swivel and makes it great to be able to style your hair at any angle .... This is by far one of the better flat irons i have used. I love the way it made my hair feel and that i didnt have to wait forever for it to heat up.

REMINGTON® T|STUDIO™ THERMALUXE™ 2” Straightener allows me to straighten my hair daily without the worry of fried ends and damage.

The flat iron is designed to be just the right width within your hands. It is easy to hold onto with losing grip strength. It is lightweight. I am able to hold my arms above my head for extended periods without tiring. The power on/off and temperature button on the inside of the wand which allows you to style your hair without bumping the button and accidently turning it off or changing the temperature without knowing. It also exhibits a swivel cord attachment so that you are not tangled in the cord while using.

2- Switch on the appliance by pressing and holding the O/F button for 2-3 seconds.
3- Use (+) or (-) button to adjust temperature. This styler will be ready to use when the LED light stops flashing.
4- Start to straight your hair to achieve a nice style.
5- After operation, press O/F button for 2-3 seconds, then pull out power plug from the electrical outlet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for purpose of review. I have owned a couple of flat irons both low end and mid price range. This product is a great value and works well. It has many levels of heat but I mostly use it on a mid range setting with great results. It is very light in weight and easy to handle. Heats in seconds and cools fast as well. I achieve the look I want very easily and in minutes without damage to my hair. I use it several times a week and have had no issues. I recommend this product if you are looking for an inexpensive flat iron that does the job well!

Heats up fast

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like how straight my hair gets with out much effort. It only took one swipe and it was straight. I like how this heats up within 15 seconds. I like that it has 30 different settings I only used mine on 10 because it was pretty hot already. I like that it has an auto shut off in case I forget to turn it off. This is a really nice straighter. I would definetly recommend this and this by far is my favorite one I have ever used.
