quite, durable and gets the job done

Our previous disposal had to be run several times to clear everything out. This disposal works wonderfully with one flip of the switch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this last year, after comparison shopping post remodel of my kitchen, very effective unit for price... as don't need to go increase to 1 HP- that was my really old unit.

After looking at many different manufacturers disposal units, I decided to order a Whirlpool. It was as advertised quiet and easy to install even though I would consider myself a novice at these things at 80 years old. It performs flawlessly and is lots quieter than another unit we had before it. I would highly recommend this Whirlpool disposal unit to anyone who is even slightly handy. If I can install it, I'm sure you can too. And the cost savings, is sure to put a smile on your face.
