Quick replacement of leaking ten year old unit

I replaced a ten year old disposer of the same model. All the connections were in the same places so installation was quick and simple. The new unit works well and is a bit quieter than the old one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The leaking has stopped

Whirlpool builds quality equipment. The disposer is quiet and efficient. I had a Whirlpool dishwasher installed at the same time as this disposer and have had zero complaints with either.Magnets around the neck of the disposer would have been nice.

Constantly getting stuck

I replaced a smaller disposal that was leaking with this Whirlpool GC2000 model so I thought this would be better, but unfortunately it is not working well for me, it is constantly getting stuck with very little amounts of food scraps going into it, I turn it on and it runs for a few seconds then gets stuck, I get it unstuck and the next time same thing and was getting to the point where i told everyone not to put anything down the disposal and have a strainer stopping everything, now it is stuck to the point I cant get it unstuck anymore. I am very disappointed in this garbage disposal.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
