GC 2000 XE Whirlpool 1/2 HP Garbage Disposal

Great product for just under three years of use. Disposal performed as expected and only had to tackle minimal waste as a result of scraping excess food into the trash can before rinsing dishes. $120 for three years is a dismal failure.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was one of those projects that I put off for a long time. Finally when our old one died, it went to the top of my list. Wish I would have done this years ago, works great and so quiet.

Durability

My contractor put this in my my house when it was built four years ago. We have been gentle on it's use and regularly cleaned it. Yet it has failed/died off. No amount of troubling shooting has worked. Also it does not come with a power cord. I had to purchase a replacement for my faucet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
