I received one for Christmas and really like the look of the watch. I've worn it a week and it seems to do a pretty good job on counting steps. Sleep tracking is 'ok' though it hasn't really gotten it right every night. Only more time will tell how good it actually tracks stuff. Unfortunately the watch I've got has a broken hour hand and doesn't appear to function properly all the time. So the one thing this watch hasn't been able to do for me is actually tell time ;) If I check the date the hour hand won't always go back to the correct time. It also appears to simply get stuck. I'm going to swap it out hopefully for a working one. The functions are also a bit flat right now. My biggest complaint is the inability to get a step count directly from the watch. It shows a rough zero to 100% range on the mini dial but for me the coolest thing is how the hands of the watch can move around. If Skagen would allow you to swap out the "Second Time Zone" button for an hour hand that ticked out your step count by moving back and forth to the month numbers it would be great. So many ways they could use the hands and the date numbers. I also don't want to locate my phone, log in, swipe through a couple screens, open the Skagen app and wait for it to slowly sync. So quick access to a step count would be nice. It also would be cool to just have it buzz whenever my phone rings, but adding in a few individual contacts and setting whether a call, text, etc buzzes isn't helpful. I really don't need a huge link between the two. I just need it to tell time, count steps and give me some simply info like date, step count and be accurate about it.
I like the titanium body and the design. It seems that it won't collect minor scratches from everyday use easily compared to stainless steel. The steps counter seems fairly accurate, showing similar counts to my previous smartwatch with steps counter during my daily commutes. The function buttons also work well, though I wish more functions could be added in the future. A point to note is that the actual colour of the leather band has a lighter tan than what I saw in Skagen's website.
I have had this watch for only 2 weeks here is what I think: A. Designwise: Its has an amazing design and I think the design team could not do better! B. Materials Quality: Its not a good leather , Im not even sure its a leather! You will experience decoloration in about 2 weeks with normal daily use. C. Performance: So far, random disconnections, malfunctioning of alarm( sometimes the watch vibrates sometimes NOT!! I have tried many things but still its so random...You cant rely on it and set the alarm for morning cuz its very random!) Summary: If you want this watch for performance do NOT buy it but if you just wanna schik analogue watch then go for it but then would it worth the price?!! I will return this and go for competitors like Boss or Tommy cuz they are having similar hybrids! SKAGEN totally disappointed me but they have awesome customer service to be fair! Its just not a quality product from the point of performance even for the 5-6 smartwatch functions that it is supposed to have!!! Sorry guys, but this watch has made me so frustrated in the past 2 weeks...
Just the design and the materials (genuine leather, titanium) can suffice to buy this watch, but I am also impressed with the smartness. The vibration for the alerts is just right. You can check your fitness relatively good, now I know how much sleep I get and it makes me more aware. Flexible and practical to use for the apps. As an engineer and designer myself, I have been looking for this watch for 2 years. Brings the elegance of a classic watch along with the smarts for everyday use.
Love the minimalistic design of it and the music controll buttons. That way you can walk and change volume skip tracks without having to take off your phone from pocket.
Love the watch. Software works great. Would like to see more functions available to assign to buttons, like answer phone on speaker. But alerts work great and setup is simple. Really like the looks and have gotten compliments.
I bought this watch a month ago and i am verry happy with the titan Edition. Because i have a nickle allergy i can t wear outher smartwatches. This One has a nice Design and is verry comfortable.
