Perfect collectors piece, maybe not perfect flying machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My four children and I were all excited when this arrived and could not wait to get it out and play with it. Aesthetically this product is everything I would want and more. The creators put great effort into the design and style of this drone and I have no doubt that this would be the perfect addition to any Star Wars collection just based on its looks. The drone itself appears to be well constructed and durable, however the controller on the other hand looks and feels like much less effort went into its design. I can't really make a big fuss about this though because all controllers I have used from similar products have felt the same way. Once out of the box and fully charged we headed outside to take to the skies. I was impressed by the power of the tiny motors as I very quickly was able to reach heights of 40 to 50 feet in the air! I also felt that the flying time per charge was pretty good even though you really only get maybe 5 minutes of actual flying time before it needs to be recharged, I feel like that is about normal for a product of this size and the recharge time is not that bad at about 30 minutes. The only thing I really didn't like about this drone was the controller. For me the ability to control this drone is a little harder than similar units that I have flown and I still have not mastered it. Every time I think I have the engines balanced to hover smoothly it seems to forget its settings and I have to start all over. Overall I think this is a great Star Wars item that any collector would love to have. If you just want an easy to fly drone then I would probably keep looking however if you are a Star Wars fan/amateur aviator this may be the perfect item for you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of the best air hogs ever. The detail on this speeder bike is amazing. The box it comes in is beautiful with wonderful details. After opening the box the speeder and controller were well packed in a method to keep speeder safe. The details on the speeder look great. The instructions are clear and well laid out. Now the fun. Turned the controller and speeder on. It drives like a dream. Very stable, very fast, and very precise. I didn't want to give up control but i let the kids drive it. They all loved it. I'm recommending this to all my friends with kids. Awesome toy.

Cool Speedster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this Star Wars speedster is more for looks than play. For the average user that is. It is very detailed and looks just like what you see in the movie. It's pretty fun to play with but very hard to control. Definitely not for indoor use. You need a lot of room to fly it. If you use rc flyers a lot and have a huge yard, or park nearby, you won't be disappointed.

Really fun for parents and older kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is so cool looking! I was excited to try it and after playing with it for a bit, I didn't really want to turn it over to the kids, but I did. It's a little difficult to control, but once you get the hang of it, it's a bit easier. We took it out to an open park with a big soccer field and used it there, so we wouldn't have to worry about running into anything or getting hung up on something. Really fun, cool detail made the kids go crazy when they saw it. My 11 year old had a bit of a tough time trying it, but my 14 year old was better at it. Both love it though.

Fun Flyer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids loved the realistic look of this drone as soon as they saw it. Set up was simple and I love that the charging cable is stored in the remote! We tried this in the house first and it was pretty hard to control in the small space. We had quite a few crashes. After awhile the kids were able to get the hang of it though. Once we took it outside, my 8 year old son was able to fly it for a few minutes before crashing it. My 7 year old daughter had a harder time but still loved trying. My husband and I enjoy playing with it too:) We have had this for 3 weeks and it gets a lot of playtime and crashes and still works and is great shape. Definitely a hit in our house!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this is so much fun. It allows you to fly around at top speeds via remote control. It has real life lights and even has the star wars sounds that make it like I am in the movie. I don't know who loves it more parents or kids. I can tell you that any fan of Star Wars is going to love this. It allows you to turn quickly and zig zag through recreated scenes from star wars. This is epic fun and puts you right in the movie. You can mix other air hog fighters with it for even more fun. I love how quickly this things moves and navigates with sharp turns and flashing lights. This is definitely a ton of fun for any star wars enthusiast. I have tried other Air Hogs products and this is by far one of my favorite. It is so much more life like. This is definitely amazing. The entertainment can last for hours as you swirl and thrust through the air in this amazing Speeder Bike. This is highly addictive.

Solid drone with a Star Wars twist, but charge often!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son and I gave the Star Wars Speeder Bike Drone for a spin and we really enjoyed watching this drone take off and fly around our back yard. The controls were easy to use and it lasted a while on a charge. Wind is an issue, but it is for any drone this light. Our only issue that kept us grounded was the issue with charging. It was a confusing process at first and took us a few days to understand how it worked. The remote charges the drone, but it originally took days to charge because I left the drone on instead of in charge mode. That was frustrating and it wasn't totally clear. Guess we should have read the manual first. But once we figured this out, charging didn't take toooo long and we were off and flying. The controls are solid for a small sized drone, but don't try using this in the house. You'll need large open spaces to win this space race!

This Starwars Drone is Awesome!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this drone. It is easy to control and easy to learn the ropes. After only 15 minutes my son had the hang of it and was flying it all over our yard. We took it to the front of the house after our backyard test flight and he flew it all around over the street and neighbors yards. Of course we got lots of questions about it and where we got it so lots of Bzz'ing going on too! Several neighborhood kids came to see it and my son was gracious enough to let them try it and give flying lessons. It crashed a couple times but didn't seem to break and worked just fine after so it seems pretty durable. The detail on it is awesome and lots of parents were impressed. My 6 year old was able to handle flying it OK and my 9 year old loves it and did great but my 3 year old couldn't coordinate it so keep the age appropriateness in mind .
All in all I'd recommend this to make an awesome Christmas present this year and I'm sure after Christmas our block will be Buzzing with Star Wars drones lol.
