The cameras have a very small angle of view so if u put it in a room wont see more then 1/3 of the room.

A good value upgrade

I bought this as a replacement for my DVR4-1200 which had started to randomly change to PPPoe from static IP. The firmware update did nothing so it was time for a new device. The QR code system of linking to the remote viewing via App is a good security measure and makes setup easy. A full manual would be of benefit - it's easier to flick through real pages rather than scrolling through a PDF.

good for keep eye on the outside of home

purchased this for outside surveillence and so far has worked good. only draw back was the ethernet cable that came with it. Too short so i purchased a 50 ft one. easy set up if you know what you are doing. being able to switch from all 4 cameras to one camera was a nice benefit. Tho this is hard wired, i have cameras on eave of second floor so no need to worry about the cables getting cut. nice to be able to hook up with app to see what is going on when not at home. Nice outfit.

Overall the product is good and easy to install. I find the App for remote viewing sometime forgets my settings. But overall great value for money.
