Horribly Dim LED lights

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lennar Homes installed these range hoods in most of the homes in my neighborhood and many, including mine have extremely dim lights. The Electrolux service technician says that there is NOTHING that can be done to brighten them. They are so dim that they are only good for a night light. No option for a bulb upgrade as these bulbs are unique to this application. The technician completely agreed that the lights are too dim but too bad, so sad for us.

The worst design for regular maintenance and very noisy at high speed

Got this as part of a new home purchase. Within the first week or so of using, it stopped working. Got it replaced with the 1 year warranty. Again within a couple months of using, the fan was clattering at anything higher than speed 1.
The folks that came, tried to repair is for almost 8 hours. It might have been a lot cheaper for them to just replace the motor in the first place. But, they came back the next day and replaced the motor.
Been using it for 2 years now.. The Ventilation Hood is good for what it does. However, at speed 3, it is very very noisy and feels like it would just fall off. So, I never use it more than speed 2.
From a regular maintenance perspective, it is the worst design ever. With every other major manufacturer, you can take out the fan blade and clean them. But, with this you cannot... the design is just the worst design ever. Just see the pictures and you will see what I mean. The only things I have been able to clean is the filters, and wipe the outside of the motor and where ever I can reach inside the hood cavity.
There is no way of removing the blades what so ever, without taking the entire motor assembly out of the hood and then disassemble the whole thing. So, I have just left it alone all this time.
We are a family that cooks a lot. Especially with Covid we have been cooking almost every meal. We cook all types of dishes, including using a Wok. So, the amount of smoke that is generated while cooking, I do not think the vent hood can handle. I clean out the filters once every 2 weeks by using a degreaser and then hot water and dish soap. Cause, putting them in a dishwasher just ruins the integrity of the filters. I did that once and I had to get new filters.
But, the blades are a complete another story. Bow the fan blades are completely covered in grease and slime. No way to get it out. And of course, the motor stopped running because of it. Now, I might have to fight with support about this. Wish me luck.

The worst! Do not buy
on February 25, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worst unit ever. First unit repaired five times to no avail, for dim lights. Finally got an entire new unit and lights were bright on day 1 then dimmed to the old level of lumens over a month. I do t know what to do since the design is defective and repair would be useless.

Blows breaker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had to replace the breaker when we turn the fan on high. We learned to start on low and work up to avoid a surge. Also the latch which holds up the dropdown cover broke within the first year.

Good Looks Good Design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Typically not a big fan of under cabinet hoods, but this came with a new home build.
This looks very high end, bigger than a typical under cab hood and works as expected for professional level. Fan can be loud on high setting, but works perfectly removing all smoke. Lights are LED in a slight blue hue and provide adequate illumination for my needs with the option of using all four or front and back only. Hood is well designed with retractable fan and light knobs. Screens are easy to remove and clean. Very happy with looks and performance.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Terrible Range Hood!

This model came with my new construction home. Although it is appealing to the eye, whenever you turn the fan on to "LO," it trips the breaker. I have had multiple electricians over to try and figure out the problem and the breaker has even been replaced. I had another worker come out today and tell us that "this happens all of the time with these. Your neighbor's are having the same problem. I don't even know why they make these, they're terrible."
This is very disconcerting to hear. He did say he would replace the motor as he was instructed by Frigidaire. My concern is that this will not fix the problem, but will only temporarily put a band-aid on it.
3 electricians and new parts on the way ... terrible, terrible product! I 100% DO NOT recommend this product!

Gets the job done, but loud and consumes too much electicity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product gets the job done decently and I am able to smell the odor outside the house when the fan is on.
The couple of concerns I have about it is that it is very loud when operating, especially in the High setting. I also noticed that my electricity consumption spikes up whenever I am using it.
