Strange noise

My dryer is one week old and has a high pitched whining noise when running. Other than that it is an excellent dryer

We bought this dryer because of quality. The one that came with the house was in bad condition and never really dried well, had even ripped up some of our jeans. We are totally satisfied with our decision. We have been using it for 2 months now and its very easy to use. It gets the job done right.
