dont ever buy amana worst product ever

Do not buy this Amana refrigerator. I purchased this unit expecting a typical 10-15 year lifespan, but it suffered a critical failure of the sealed cooling system after only three years.
Since the failure occurred just outside the 36-month warranty period, Amana offered no coverage. The quote for the necessary system repairs was shocking—it was so high that it approaches the cost of buying an entirely new refrigerator.
This is a clear indication of poor product quality and low durability. Appliances like refrigerators should not become disposable after three years. Prospective buyers should be aware: the prohibitive cost of repair for this premature failure makes investing in Amana refrigeration a significant financial risk.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
