[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I realize after that I had purchase this refrigerator I should of looked at wide not deep. The holders on the door should be clear or a clear front so you can see inside and look at labels on the jars. It was listed as a 19 cubic but it feels like at times a 17. The door takes more room inside of the refrigerator which I bet you that is less then 17 cubic feet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Amana Stainless Refigerator with the Freezer on the bottom has been a joy to have in my first home. Even thought it isn't the biggest, because it is so well desgned with adjustable shelves and digital temperature and easy to clean interiors have been the best purchase I've made since buying the condo. I highly recommend the Amana Kitchen appliances to friends and family.
