[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is very convenient to store and access food. No longer will I forget what is stored in the back, because items are easily seen.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only had for a couple weeks but has been working fine, and the dealer that I bought from was very nice and explained the whole product to us.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Over the age of 65 and 6 feet tall. So thrilled to no longer have to get down on the knees to retrieve items from bottom shelves. Freezer on bottom pulls out and is so much easier. Only suggestions is to make divider on bottom drawer removable. Some frozen boxed items must be removed from box to fit in the space.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this a few weeks ago to replace an old Amana fridge (similar design) that had failed after only 8 years. However we love the Amana brand and the local appliance vendor that we bought through so decided to stick with same brand. Our new fridge has the slide out freezer (old one had swing door) and we love this design more! Love the simplicity of the design and user friendly interior. Spacious and great interior lighting. Easy to organize food items. Very happy!!
We recently bought an Amana Stainless Steel Refrigerator. First time we have purchased one with the freezer on the bottom. We have one door on top for the refrigerator - as we were limited for the space needed to fit. I just love it! Love the bottom freezer the way your company has designed it - plenty of room even with the icemaker we had installed/like the divided compartments/easy to organize products. Refrigerator & freeze door have a very good feel to it when opening & closing which I like. Everything is perfect and we are very happy with our purchase. One thing I will mention is the two vegetable bins & the cold cuts draw are a little to plastic and you have to just push them evenly to get them to close nicely. A little disappointed in that. Should be a bit heavier or better plastic to close easier & it would give the refrigerator a more expensive feel as the rest of it has.
I've been living with this thing for about a month. Freezer on the bottom is so low, I have difficulty getting into it and I find I need my freezer several times a day. The refrigerator is comfortable with the exceptionof the top shelf, which I can barely reach and as a result is practically empty. The rest of the shelves are shallow, because the shelves on the door or so deep. I'm afraid to fill the door shelves for fear they will break. As a matter of fact I was warned against putting soda bottles on the door for this reason. This is not a refrigerator for an older, single woman!
