We bought our refrigerator about a month ago and we really like it.
The best thing about it is, the freezer on the bottom.
Trying to get to our food in the old refrigerator with the bottom so close to the floor was tough.
As we age the fact that knees don"t work like they use to, makes it hard to stay in the knee crouching position for long.
I love the silver and gray color. It has a neutral value for color and blends in nicely with colors in out kitchen.
The only thing that makes me wonder about it, is the fact that it's a bit noisy from time to time.
Not sure if it's working harder because of the extreme heat we've had this summer.
We were told to keep the #'s at 4 and we do that.
Over all we really like our new refrigerator.

I bought this appliance because we were limited in space, both height and width. Our old top freezer model was smaller but had the same capacity, although a bigger freezer area. This refrigerator has good cooling and the refrigerator are is adequate. However we both dislike the freezer, which holds a lot less than our old model and the pull out wire shelves are a pain, although a necessity.. I can't imagine the available space if you had a model with an ice maker.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Always wanted a Bottom-Freezer Refrigerator but was always concerned about the tight space available. Saw the Amana and was happy there was a 19 cu. ft. for my kitchen with all the extra nice features. The lighting on top is sleek and nice looking. I love the bottom freezer, so easy to open and close and so much space. I am happy with my new Amana Refrigerator.
