I love my freezer on the bottom Amana. No more bending over to look for food. It's all right there in plain view. And the freezer, just pull out the drawer and reach in to get what I want. The shelf also just pulls out. I also love the halve-shelves that can be adjusted. Three bins and plenty of door storage. Too get what I wanted, I was even willing to pay the higher price.

We owned a very similar version of this model for 18 years, and it performed flawlessly. But, as we got older, we realized the bottom door freezer was becoming difficult to access easily on knees that were not as supple as they once were. Along comes the same refrigerator, with the same features, but with the newer bottom DRAWER freezer. How is that for progress? It is exactly what we needed!~ Thanks, Amana!

We have had this refrigerator/freezer for about two months and are really enjoying it. We have had Amana products for many years and this one is exactly as our last one except that it is black and has newer and more efficient items.
We love the bottom freezer as it is more convenient for us and think more families should try it. The black is the first Amana product we have gotten and would have gotten another bisque or cream color but they are not available any longer. Oh, the nature of change we endure as we age.

We were concerned about dementions, we have a fixed counter and a side wall, most of the bottom freezer models are too wide, we wanted only a bottom freezer model, and my wife really wanted a freezer drawer rather than a freezer door, this fit the bill

Love the fridge..I do wish the instructions would have included the correct handle model to be able to move it to open from the other side. Should be able to figure it out eventually. Otherwise, it is a good value.
