We are very pleased with our Amana refrigerator which has the freezer on the bottom. The freezer is so easy to use. The refrigerator on top has lots of space and the door has lots of shelves for all sizes of food packaging. The motor is relatively quiet which is very nice.

I bought my fridge a couple of months ago. I really like, but it has a slight popping sound when it comes on, only lasts a couple of seconds. Also the crisper (veg draws) do not fit correctly. Neither of these are real bothersome, but should be corrected. I would recommend this item. I really like the fridge on top.

Love my Big Chill

My Big Chill in Jadite Green is the focal point of our kitchen. It is roomy, lots of room to store everything, shelves are easily arranged. I have never had the freezer on the bottom before and it is great. food stays organized with the sliding bins and nothing gets lost.

I bought this same unit a couple of years ago, but then sold my house and bought a new place. The esisting refridgerator in my new home was an enormous let down- this coming from some one that doesn't care about such things. After a few short weeks I I treated myself to with a new one. It's a pleasure to habe this baby back in the fold. The pull out drawer freezer on the bottom is my favorite feature. My only dissapointment is that the fruit & vegie drawers are on the flimsy side. Over all, a very nice fridge without frivilous bells and whistles at a competitive price.

Fridge is great, not in love with freezer yet

This refrigerator is almost exactly the same volume as the old one, but the 'fridge part is much bigger and user friendly. I look forward also to seeing the lower electric bills.
The freezer is fine, but it is not tremendous and isn't the most user friendly. There's not an obvious spot for things like ice trays, for example. We've had to be slightly more strategic with freezer space, but since most of us are vegetarian, this is not an issue.
I live in a house with three adult residents who usually have 1-3 visitors pretty much every night. I would estimate that this fridge supports four breakfasts, three lunches, and three dinners on an average day.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought my new refrigerator in about 6 weeks age and I love it. I love the bottom freezer and the extra space I feel I have. I really like that I am not standing on my tippy toes trying to find something in the back of the freezer. I am really glad that I chose my Amana refrigerator!!
