Fabulous Fridge

We gave up on another US brand that just couldn't get a good fridge to us despite the thousands it cost. Despite fear of buying a foreign made fridge, we decided to take the chance. Have to say it was the best decision ever.
This fridge is quiet and if you don't understand how much power an inverter saves, look it up on Wikipedia. You'll learn a lot and will be buying the same one. Its super quiet and the best feature of all with these counter depth fridges is that it has SO MUCH MORE ROOM. Plus it has the 'ice plus' feature that will increase ice production by 20% for a 24 hour period. That is great for dinner parties or hot days where other counter depth fridges just can't keep up with the demand.
While this one doesn't have all the obvious bells and whistles like photo displays or hot water dispensers or coffee makers, it works beautifully and does what you need it to do with very little sound.

Terrible design for ice dispenser

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the previous version of this refrigerator. It came with a house I purchased. The ice maker has very limited capacity, which is the least of its issues. It also jams and creates a block of ice between the storage bin and the chute. This make the ice machine unusable until you hack the block of ice away with a screwdriver. It's also difficult to get the ice storage out when it's iced in, and finally ours actually broke. This is a horrible design and despite looking great is terrible. We are in the process of replacing ours with another brand.

Worst Fridge - Don't Buy!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not even had this fridge for a year and it has been nothing but problem after problem. Within 3 months of having it installed, it was leaking water. LG tech came out to fix it and not even a month later, the leak was back. Now the motor is shot. Not happy. I will never buy another LG appliance again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this fridge in april and very happy. The double ice maker is a life saver. I have 9 grandchildren and they are always getting ice and water. The lighting in the fridg is great. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.
