Rusted racks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleased with my lg dishwasher when we bought it however when the racks started to rust and break I was so very disappointed. I have never had something like this happen. I tried to find replacement racks however I have not been successful. This just makes my situation even more frustrating.

Film Frustration

Cleaned pretty good originally, but have struggled the last 2 years with getting clear glasses sparkling. Filter has been cleaned frequently and used assorted dishwasher cleaners. Not sure what else to try?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this dishwasher for less than 5 years and in that time, I have had the entire motor assembly under the dishwasher replaced because of leaks. The first time was a couple months after purchase and the second was a couple of weeks ago. This is very disappointing. I paid a lot of money for this dishwasher and for it to need these major repairs in such a brief period of time speaks volumes about the quality and craftsmanship that LG puts into, or doesn't put into, their products. I was lucky that I took out a 5-year warranty from the place I purchased it or I would have been forced to purchase a new dishwasher as the repair cost was more than a new unit. I will never buy another LG appliance again, and it is NOT the only LG appliance that has recently needed repair after a shor period.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
