Nice quiet disposal. Had to purchase a cord as we did not want to hard wire it. Would have been nice to come with one in case one wanted to plug it in.

Excellent Disposer!

We purchased this disposer to replace one exactly like it. We installed our first one in May 2000 and it just this year started wearing out. It was still working when we took it out, but was definitely on its last leg. Since it was a replacement, installation was easy.

good size, but not as quiet as hoped

we purchased this to replace a broken 1/2 hp disposer because it was a stronger motor, but it is much louder than the previous disposer which is why I only gave it 4 stars. Otherwise it works good so far.

Difficult to Install

Instructions were not very good as to installation. Better detailed information should have been given for the mount ring and the cushion mount. The removable splash guard (although a good idea) restricts drainage of sink. An extra splash guard in the disposal package would also have been very nice.
