Easy to setup once I ran the wires. Was worried there would not be enough harddrive, but seems to be plenty.

Excellent unit

Just purchased and installed this unit and we are delighted. The set up was amazingly easy and I love the color coding, which would be very helpful for a newbie to deal with. I have had surveillance cams for many years but this was by far the easiest to set up. Also, the remote viewing worked very well. The only small hitch was getting logged in as it was not clear that the password needed to have numbers as well as letters. Once I had found that out, the log in is fast and easy. The camera quality is good and easily as good as the other unit I own (not Defender) which was twice as expensive. Am very happy with this and would for sure buy another and recommend this to others.

Installed this system a week and a half ago, and have been really pleased with the video quality, and the flexible adjustments possible. The cameras that come with the system install easily, and provide a very sharp picture. For the money I'm not sure there's a better system to help protect your loved ones, and your possessions. Very happy with this purchase!

I bought this item not long ago. Well packaged. Took longer than expected to arrive. Setup was a snap. Can't go wrong with connections. I'm not too happy with the IR feature though. Advertised to "see" up to 130'. Even with a security light on the phone pole, I can't see further than the end of my deck which is only about 15'. Thumbs down!! Picture quite clear during daylight with a monitor attached via the HDMI cable. Pretty choppy when viewing on computer and/or iPhone. Also, paperwork that came with the system states "Review must be completed within 3 months of purchase." However, the website where the review is submitted states "*Disclaimer: Review must be made between 7 and 30 days of receiving your monitor." Not sure which one to believe so I submitted this review after 7 days.

I brought this system about a month ago, I like the clear picture and the features , I don't have a technical background, but my installer found it was an easy setup with the color code. Thanks to Candance and Donna for the helpful assistance with my questions in sales and parts. Tech support very helpful when needed.

I bought the Defender HD 1080P camera and it was a easy setup with no hassles. I can view everything in my house through my phone remotely while I'm out and I know that my home is safe!

I bought this system over some of the others was because I wanted constant recording and didn't want to pay an online service to hold my recordings. I'm glad I did. The system was supper easy to install and configure. I was up and running within 15 min. The system automatically connected to the internet so I could view over the web and I didn't need to make any router changes.
