Does The Job!

I bought this a few months ago. I wanted to wait a while before I wrote a review to see how it would perform. It was pretty easy to set up. I haven't set up all of the features yet but so far so good. The cameras have really good daytime vision. The night vision is fair. Needs to be where there is light to see any distance, close is ok. It does what I need it to do for now. For the price, I think it's a good system. I will add more cameras soon. Overall...I would buy again if I had to have another.

Compre el equipo con dos camaras hace dos semanas y ya ordene dos camaras mas. La imagen se ve super bien y la instalacion super facil.

The company has good intentions, however the product is no better than most other low cost home security cameras. Susan in the technical support has been wonderful with several issues that I have had. I started with a wireless system that would not work in my home. Next problem was a dvr that sounded like a jet taking off(which was replaced). The set that I have now is an 8 camera wired system, which is ok, but not great. Even when I set sensitivity to lowest possible setting I get 40 to 100 email alerts a day, which is extreme, The pictures are ok, but not great and do not compare to my previous set of cameras. My advice is if you are satisfied with ok pictures and tons of email alerts then this camera will work for you.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased a 4 camera sd system from defender 10 years ago and it is still going strong.?my wife and I de sided to upgrade to hd and could not be happier with this 8 camera 8 channel hd system

This is a great system. It is clear in daylight and in most cases it is pretty good at dark. (needs some light to help with clear vision ) I had some issues with my password, but their Customer Service (Darrielle) was really on the ball.
