Easy to set up!

I have had a Defender System for several years that wasn’t HD quality. Other than one camera going out which was quickly replaced under warranty, it has been a great system. I recently decided to upgrade to HD quality. With the HD2T16B16 system. It was a good decision and with the excellent help of Darrielle from Defender answering all my questions prior to the purchase, she took all the quess work out of the decision making process. The picture quality is great! The only issue we have is that either the internal hard drive or the fan is pretty noisy. Otherwise the setup was easy and the interface is much improved over my earlier Defender System.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was initially setting up my unit and the password wouldn't work. I emailed customer service, provided them with what they needed, and Darrielle immediately got back to me and gave me a new password. Thanks for the quick service.

Great system, easy set up

Received it today, took a couple of hours to install and 5-10 minute set up, very user Freindly system and great app allows you to view and watch recordings

Terrible unit

Would not recommend this to any body. My friend bought this set up. And it is very very loud. So loud in fact that it keeps kept us up at night. We had to turn up the tv so we could hear it. Will never buy from this company again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very satisfied with the cameras. My husband and my sons installed and set them up. They have amazing HD quality, night vision and motion detection! We needed a replacement for one of the cables and Darrielle, the customer representative was very efficient and it was delivered within 3 days! Highly Recommended!

Not flawless but serves purpose

I have the older not HD system I purchased back 4 years and have been very pleased with. And now since we have another home bought the new HD system. I bought this system a couple months ago in mid July and it sat in the boxes for a month before I got around to installing it.
Set up is very easy, but as everyone else states cabling will be the work, so have a plan ahead which will make it a little easier. The cameras show a decent clear picture lots better then I was used to, although they tend to be light weight making them seem cheap.
I am somewhat disappointed that the DVR failed on channel 2. Tried to set motion and it stayed stuck in continuous record mode. They are sending another but until it arrives I am without security. If you have to return for replacement beware that you pay shipping. Overall I think Defender is still a good product.

I bought this a couple weeks ago and installed 6 of the cameras so far. Great pictures and coverage. would have been easier if you could cut wires to length needed and put your own ends on. Lot of extra wire to hide on the short runs. other than that extremely pleased with thi unit.
