Great Customer Service

I bought my cameras and DVR a year ago and had a problem with a couple of my cameras. Darielle was very helpful on the live chat, and while I have not yet had the opportunity to use the troubleshooting advice provided, at Darielle's direction, I will return via email to investigate further options if I am not able to resolve my issue. This time and attention is greatly appreciated!

I bought this system based on my poor experience with cheaper systems. The videos are so clear and the phone ap is so much better than myeye. I thought it was easy to set up...no port forwarding...yeah!

Easy to install, just wish manual came in box but we did get it working. One year later when I had no pictures I contacted customer service and Darrielle was stuck with me...she was very helpful she walked me thru all my options as to what the problem could be, she finally figured out my problem and help me resolve the issue. Thank you Darrielle!

could be better

Easy to install and setup, nice picture quality. Phone app does not always connect. If you want to view on a computer monitor, it needs its own dedicated monitor. For web connection it only supports internet explorer (obsolete) which I tried installing and still no luck. Everyone is using Edge or Chrome and it wont work with those. I have a dual monitor set up on my desk and I had to unplug one just for the DVR.
The DVR fills up in 3 days with continuous record. I set up all the cameras for motion detect and the motion sensor has a very narrow field and does not record half the activity in the room

Awesome Quality and Great Price

I just recently bought this system and I have to say , I’m very impressed. Cameras and DVR are are small and sleek. Cameras show a better view of my property then I was expecting and the picture is awesome. Set up was simple and very easy. I researched a lot of systems and this one is the very best value out there. Thanks Defender for a great product and giving me peace of mind when I’m not at the cottage.

We bought this unit with the 4 Bullet Cameras and 1tb hard drive a couple of weeks ago. Easy to install and works great. The only drawback to me is, instead of including "four" 60 foot cords --- if they could put in "two" 60 foot cords and "two" 100 foot cords, that would make it easier to reach the farther distances around the house without having to buy an extra longer cord or two. Other than that, the unit is perfect for our needs. We only need 3 of the cameras for now and the picture quality is great at 1080p (see photo), and we have a spare camera if something happens. I would definitely recommend this product.
